90540850 Spool Kit Outer Housing and Cap

This genuine Black & Decker replacement part for the GH1000 includes the Cap, Lever and Outer Housing (with two eyelets) and is sold individually. This is an upgrade kit for Type 1 Heads which converts your weedeater to the Type 2 Head. This is because the Type 1 Outer Spool has been discontinued.

DF-080 Dual-Line Replacement Spool .080-Inch

Another genuine Black and Decker spare part the dual line replacement spool is a consumable item on the Grass Hog GH1000 trimmer and should be replaced when it runs out of cord. It’s purpose is to dispense cutting line or cord as the existing length of cord wears out or is cut by foreign objects. Since this replacement part is a dual line it saves you time and energy hand winding the plastic cord on to your string trimmer the old fashioned way. Cord diameter: 0.080″

RC-080-P Spool Cover

This replacement part for the Black & Decker Grass Hog features a unique spooling system which uses the power of centrifugal force to feed out more line automatically, but only when you need it. This component directly replaces the original cap.

47853500 Guard Assembly

The guard assembly is a genuine Black & Decker replacement component which fits the GH1000 and is sold individually. The guard assembly stops debris such as sticks and stones from being thrown at your legs by the cutting cord or string. It comes complete with line cutting blade which trims the cutting cord to the correct length as the cord spins.

90552006 Replacement Belt (2 Pack)

This genuine Black and Decker belt is a common wear item on higher use strimmers including the GH1000. The belt is installed on to both the driven pulley and the drive pulley of the electric motor assembly. There is a flex shaft which is connected to the larger pulley and this spins both the spool and in turn the cutting line of the trimmer. After prolonged and regular use the teeth on the belt will deteriorate and the belt should be replaced. Comes in a handy 2 pack.

479751-00S Auto-Feed Lever

Another genuine Black & Decker Grass Hog weedeater replacement part for the GH1000, the auto feed lever, controls the amount of string or cord that is fed out of the auto feeding spool. This part is a common wear item and we recommend you keep an extra on hand should you need it.

580936-00 Spring (2 Pack)

This genuine Black & Decker spring fits inside the spool of the GH1000 trimmer and is a recommended replacement when you change out the spool and spool cap. Comes in a handy 2 pack for convenience.

Another genuine Black & Decker part, the edge guide is a handy, multi use accessory for your GH1000 Grass Hog trimmer. If pushed down, the edge guide lives up to it’s name and serves as a guide for neatly edging your lawn. It also acts as a shield for small plants and flowers by keeping them clear of the cutting cord or line. It pushes back up out of the way when no longer required and attaches to the bottom housing of the flex shaft (49223900).
